What other options are there for me in this case?

I am in San Antonio, TX. I was charged with theft $50-$500.My appointed attorney suggested deferred adjudication and I was good with the idea until I found out that it cannot be expunged later on. So I was wondering are there any other options I can go with that will allow me to later on get this expunged. Is there anything I can do to get this reduced to a class c? Please I really need this because I want to become a doctor and I was told this cannot be on my record if I want to get that license. Any advice would be much appreciated please and thank you.

Sorry but you don’t have the power or ability to control what the prosecutor is willing to offer. The prosecutor usually isn’t over inclined to offer criminal defendants pleas that will make the defendants happy.

Your only real option is to explain your situation to your attorney and ask him if he can take your situation to the prosecutor in the hopes the prosecutor might be sympathetic.

Dui Lawyer Texas

I got a Dui In Texas I am 20 but the police did not breathalyze me & I did not go to jail can I do anything?

I left a party and got pulled over because I pulled through a parking lot which had a dollar general that had just been stolen from(dumb i know) so I got pulled over for suspicion for driving through the parking lot, I was with a friend and there were 3 beers in the car, she took account for them and said they were hers but I still got a DUI because there was “alcohol on my breath”. I did not go to jail,and I did no sobriety test. Is there absolutely any way to get out of this?Should i get a lawyer?
also, there were no open containers just 3 sealed beers and I was driving after only a couple of beers I was no where near drunk it was really just bad timing, so please don’t hate.

Are you sure you got a DUI. Driving Under The Influence gets you arrested. If charged with a dui you would have gone to jail at least to be processed
