Can I get in trouble for what I did at the DUI checkpoint?
I was driving some friends back from the store when we hit a checkpoint. I don’t drink so obviously was completely sober at the checkpoint. I do however have a mild to medium studder and I asked some stupid question that didn’t really articulate. The officer made me follow her finger with my eye and asked me if I had been drinking and where I was coming from. I feel stupid because I probably sounded drunk even though I was not. Will they think I was drunk and come arrest me for nothing?
They would have arrested you on the spot, plus they don’t have proof that you were drunk, because obviously you were sober. You’re all good!
