Dui Dmv Hearing

i got a dui and lost the dmv hearing can i still fight it?

You can fight the DUI part.

Your hearing at the DMV was on whether or not you would be able to maintain your driving privileges. In these proceedings it is usually pretty cut and dry if the officer shows up for it.

The DUI part is a criminal charge that will be heard in a court of law. You will have the opportunity to bring witnesses and the right to a trial by jury

Edit:

There are basically two parts to a DUI the driving part with the department of motor vehicles and the criminal part.

Most dmv’s have a hearing on whether or not you may maintain your driving privileges because of the citation of DUI.

When signing up for your license everyone has to agree to take a chemical test as to whether or not your were impaired while driving if cited by a law enforcement officer.

Failure to do so is grounds to revoke or suspend your driving privilege or if you register over the legal limit this is grounds as well
