Is this a good draft for the Detroit Lions?

TRADE- Detroit gets: Maimi’s 2008 and 2009 2nd round draft pick/Maimi gets: Shaun Rogers and 2009 2nd round draft pick

1/2 2nd round picks- Pat Sims DT
2/2 2nd round picks- Erin Henderson OLB

3rd round

Jermichael Finley TE

4th round

Xavier Omon RB

5th round

Spencer Larson ILB

6th round

Would this be a good draft day for Detroit???

you really like players from Arizona, and it would be a good draft, but Antoine Cason’s stock is dropping due to rumors of a 4.6 40 time so they can get him in the second or maybe even third round. I don’t know if you know this but Al Wilson got cleared to return to football last month and wants to play for Detroit. They probably would have a better chance trading Shaun Rogers and Tatum Bell to the Bengals too since Bill Parcells likes Glenn Dorsey and Sedrick Ellis at DT. It will probably look more like: 1st round Kenny Phillips Safety Miami, 2nd round maybe Jeff Otah OT or Felix Jones or both if they get the trade, 3rd round they should definatley go TE Finley is safe but the kid out of Michigan St is gonna see his stock rise dramatically over the next month, 4th round they can get a good zone corner with great ball skills from San Jose St named Dwight Lowery, 5th round Spencer Larson would be a great special teamer and eventually work into the strongside role, but if still available I’d go with Jerod Mayo, 6th round they need a guard, and in the seventh they could get Jackson. The reason why I left Cason off the list is because Detroit plays almost exclusively cover 2 zone and Cason has played strictly man coverage. He’s a great and underrated cover corner, but he will probably be the second round choice of Arizona.
